Addressing the theme of sustainability, Chairman Chen Xuehua noted that Huayou made its entry into Indonesia in 2018. Over the past five years, with the support of the Indonesian government and its foreign investment policies, Huayou seamlessly integrated its advantages in technologyand management with Indonesia's bountiful resource advantages to establish a series of cutting-edge lithium metal smelting projects. These projects prioritize technological advancement, resource efficiency, environmental friendliness, and ESG leadership. Simultaneously, Huayou maximized its advantages in integrated industrial chains, fostering broad-ranging collaborations with industry partners both upstream and downstream. Alongside internationally renowned companies such as Volkswagen Group, Ford, LG Group, and Vale, Huayou jointly undertook the development of an integrated industrial park for new energy lithium-ion materials in Indonesia, making a significant contribution to Indonesia's "Nickel Industry Downstream Strategy." Throughout these five years, while actively participating in Indonesia's "Nickel Industry Downstream Strategy" and driving economic and social development, Huayou has consistently upheld its social responsibilities. The group has continuously elevated its ESG management standards, creating employment opportunities for local residents, and stimulating regional economic growth, which is welcomed by the local community and highly affirmed by the Indonesian government.

Representatives from government embassies in Indonesia, including those of Indonesia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, along with delegates from companies such as Vale in Brazil, Eramet in France, Freeport LNG in the United States, and PT STM in Indonesia, took part in the closed-door roundtable.
