Recently, the "Conference on Promoting the Construction of a Strong Manufacturing City" was held in Chengdu. Shi Xiaolin, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee, attended the Conference and delivered a speech. Wang Fengchao, Deputy Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Zhang Yan, Chairman of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Xie Ruiwu, Deputy Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee, also attended the Conference. Chengdu B&M Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of "Outstanding Enterprise in the Development of Chengdu's Manufacturing Industry in the Decade of the New Era".

In recent years, taking manufacturing as the foundation of the city and the priority of its development, Chengdu has insisted on systematically planning and promoting the high-quality development of manufacturing. At the Conference, Secretary Shi Xiaolin stated that: We should study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and conscientiously implement the important ideas and proposals of General Secretary Xi Jinping on developing the real economy, promoting new-type industrialization and high-quality manufacturing development. We should set up the goal of building Chengdu into a strong manufacturing city, implement corresponding measures, gather our joint efforts to continuously, build up our core competitiveness, seek innovation and transformation, and accelerate the construction of a national demonstration zone for high-quality manufacturing development.

At the Conference, 10 districts (cities) and counties were recognized as advanced units in the development of Chengdu's manufacturing industry in decade of the new era, and 50 enterprises were awarded the title of outstanding enterprise in the development of Chengdu's manufacturing industry in the decade of the new era. Chengdu B&M was awarded the title of "Outstanding Enterprise in the Development of Chengdu's Manufacturing Industry in the Decade of the New Era" as an advanced model active in reform, innovation, practice and exploration, which marks the recognition of its manufacturing level and strong rise in real economy, as well as the affirmation of the company's adherence to its investment philosophy of "contributing to the local economic and social development wherever we invest" and positive contributions to local economic growth since the establishment of the subsidiary in Chengdu.
