Huayou Group leaders met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic

At 11:00 a.m. on May 11, 2021 local time, Fang Qixue, Vice Chairman and Senior Vice President of Huayou Group, with his delegation of Huayu Cobalt, led by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Serbia, Ms. Chen Bo, and member of the Standing Committee for the Cooperation and Coordination Committee between the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China (CAS), visited His Excellency Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia.
At the meeting, President Vucic extended a warm welcome to the delegation of Huayou Cobalt for its visit and investigation in Serbia, and expressed sincere thanks to the important role of the Chinese Embassy in Serbia and the strong support of the Chinese Ambassador to Serbia, Ms. Chen Bo.  Fang expressed sincere thanks to President Vucic for his warm reception and Ambassador Chen Bo for his support and assistance.  "Rooted in China making friends all over the world" is the unchanging belief of Huayou. Fang said that during his visit to Serbia, he hoped to once again find the conjuncture point of friendly cooperation and common development between Chinese enterprises and Serbia.  The two sides exchanged views and reached consensus on green development and circular economy, further enhancing mutual trust, expanding cooperation areas, promoting high-quality development and building a development community in the future.  
Lady Zorana MihajloviĆ, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mines and Energy of Serbia, Lady Irena Vujlovi, Minister of Environmental Protection, Mr. Tomislav Momirović, Minister of Construction, Tranportation and Infrastructure, and a number of senior officials and ministers of the Serbian government participated in the meeting. Prior to the meeting, Huayou Cobalt delegation called on the former President of the Republic of Serbia and the Chairperson of the Cooperation and Coordination Committee of the Republic of Serbia, the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, His Excellency, His Excellency Tomislav Nicolić.
